We Cover the Tech
That Actually Moves the World

Fangzi Tech is an independent media brand dedicated to helping professionals and curious minds navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of modern technology. We test, analyze, and explain the breakthroughs shaping our digital future — and we are always transparent about how we make money doing it.

Cutting Through the Noise in an Era of Tech Overload

The technology landscape is evolving faster than most people can track. New breakthroughs in quantum computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and developer tooling are announced daily — each promising to transform industries. Some genuinely will. Many won't. Our job is to help you tell the difference.

Fangzi Tech was founded in 2022 by a team of software engineers, security researchers, and technology journalists who were frustrated with coverage that was either dumbed down to the point of uselessness or so technically dense it excluded the very professionals who needed the insights most.

We cover quantum computing, cryptography, developer infrastructure, AI security, semiconductor advances, and the enterprise software transformations being driven by all of the above — with a sharp focus on practical implications for engineers, IT leaders, and tech-forward organizations.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial assessments are independent of our commercial relationships. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and held to factual accuracy standards.

Research-Grounded Coverage

We cite peer-reviewed research, consult working engineers, and verify technical claims before we publish. We correct errors promptly and transparently.

Accessible Technical Writing

We translate complex technology for practitioners who need to act on it. No unnecessary jargon. No filler. Context first, complexity only when it matters.

Transparent Monetization

We earn through sponsorships and affiliate commissions. Every commercial relationship is disclosed on every page where it is relevant, in plain language.

The People Behind Fangzi Tech

A distributed team of engineers, security researchers, and technology journalists — united by a belief that the most important technology stories are the ones being written right now in labs, startups, and standards committees.

Alex Chen

Editor-in-Chief & Co-founder

Former lead engineer at two cybersecurity firms turned technology journalist. Alex has covered enterprise security and emerging computing paradigms for over a decade and launched Fangzi Tech after recognizing that practitioners needed deeper, more honest analysis than mainstream tech media provided.

Priya Sharma

Senior Writer, Quantum & Cryptography

PhD in quantum information science from MIT, now making the field legible for practitioners. Priya spent four years in academic research before pivoting to science journalism. Her coverage of post-quantum cryptography standards is among the most-read content on Fangzi Tech.

Our Business Model, Explained Plainly

We operate a media business, which means we have real costs: writers, researchers, fact-checkers, software, and hosting. We cover those costs through two channels.

Sponsored content and advertorials. Technology companies pay us to produce articles that feature their products. These are always labeled clearly with “Advertorial” or “Sponsored” at the top of the page. We maintain editorial standards for sponsored content: factual accuracy, honest framing, and full disclosure. We do not accept payment to promote products we believe to be harmful, misleading, or technically fraudulent.

Affiliate commissions. When we recommend a tool and you sign up through our link, we may earn a commission from the provider. This is disclosed in the relevant articles and does not affect our non-sponsored editorial coverage.

We believe readers are better served by a publication that is explicit about its commercial relationships than one that obscures them behind a veneer of objectivity.

What We Publish and What We Won’t

We publish: Deep-dive technology analysis, security research summaries, developer tool evaluations, and clearly-labeled sponsored content from companies whose products we believe offer genuine value.
We disclose: Every affiliate relationship, every sponsored article, every commercial connection — on the page where it is relevant, in language that is clear and easy to find.
We don’t publish: Undisclosed sponsored content, unverified technical claims, fabricated statistics, sensationalist fear-mongering about security threats, or advertorials for products we know to be deceptive.
We don’t guarantee: That sponsored content is unbiased. Readers should apply appropriate skepticism to all advertorial content — including ours. Results mentioned in sponsored articles may vary.
